hi,
I created one form having user to enter english and Arabic description. The problem I have is, it is not automatically changing when we focus the item from English to Arabiv viz. We have to press ALT+SHIFT before we enter the value. The FONT for the arabic column has been set as a "Arabic Transparent".
Can someone give the solution please?

I have gone through the old forum. but I did not get useful information. Just I need how to invoke ALT+SHIFT key automatically when I enter in to a particular column.

On Metalink look at Note:468600.1

Also review the 'International' properties of your fields. There is 'Initial Keyboard State', 'Reading Order', and 'Keyboard State'. Read the supplied help seems to indicate that you define, in your case, Arabic as the 'Local Language' and 'English' as the 'Roman'.

Try this and see what happens.

Thank you for your information. However, I have already changed those settings. Now my question is when the cursor move into that column it should accept only Arabic character. At present the user pressing ALT+SHIFT key to change the language.

How can we invoke ALT+SHIFT key automatically in the form.
(like we are givin execute_trigger('when-button-pressed'))
