Hi,

In my ASM configuration,having a disk group DGROUP1 which contains 2 disks Disk1 & Disk2,I made Disk1 to not avaialble to DGROUP1, so

SQL> select path,mount_status from v$asm_disk;

PATH MOUNT_S
------------------------------ -------
D:\ASMDISKS\DISK2 CACHED
MISSING

Now I got the status of MISSING for the DIsk1.Then I made Disk1 to be available,then

SQL> select path,mount_status from v$asm_disk;

PATH MOUNT_S
------------------------------ -------
D:\ASMDISKS\DISK1 CLOSED
D:\ASMDISKS\DISK2 CACHED
MISSING

Why the mount status of Disk1 is CLOSED and why a row is still showing MISSING?What I've to do to make Disk1 to available to DGROUP1,so that its mount status will change to CACHED?

Thanks...
