hi

i want to item text field increse / decrease by user define.

that means when i select a item via mouse click then i move i mouse automatically the select field size is increase / decrease

Dear what you are talking about is usually provided by the developer tools. Like in .Net, Java and Visual Basic. In Oracle it is not provided.

I am not saying that it is impossible to do so, but for doing this will involve a very complicated mechanism.

To change the size of a field review the attributes of the 'set_item_property' command. There is a 'width' attribute available.
