We are in the process of moving from forms 4.5 to 10g Web forms

In our current forms there are visual attributes for various record types - such as QUERY_MODE, MANDATORY_ITEMS etc

I believe these are probably defined in the resource file
(I am just trying to track down the Oracle Terminal to be able to check on that)

What I am looking at is our new 10g forms. They don't have these visual attributes defined. Now I can create them in the form - but I won't want to do this for standard "global" visual attributes in every form
So I am wondering what the best way to set that up is?

You can use an object library.

Create a ref. fmb with all the standard visual attributes. Put the VA's in the object library and use the object library in your forms app's.

Thanks Dirk
I think I follow what you mean
One more question though - after creating the object library how di I "use it in my forms app"?
The only reason I ask is that I have made a VA in the object library, then rebuilt the form in question but it still says it hasn't got a definition of the new VA

What do you have in your Object Navigator?
/forum/fa/3067/0/ or /forum/fa/3068/0/
That is, with or without the 'arrow'?
