i have menu bar on screen.i have written code on one of its items(menubar items) to open new form.

i want when new form opens ,then current window must disapper.
how to hide current window when new form opens.....


because when i click to open new form current window is still seen under that form.
Any solution?

instead of open_form or call_form use new_form()

Use Call_form. there is an option to hide calling form.
Use argument that suggests the same.

Refer to Form Help for the syntax.
