Hello All,

I have a query on migrating Oracle forms 4.5i to 9i
Currently our application is using oracle forms 4.5i which is character based.
The application also involves C Programs and Unix scripts. So if i migrate to a GUI based environment(forms 9i) can the oracle application server be installed on a unix machine, or its
installable only on a windows machine ?


PS:Unix scripts can be modified but cannot be avoided during the migration
Planning to migrate to HPUX 11.11 Server and the Database will be Oracle 9 RDBMS Enterprise edition 9.2.0

The application server can be on either a Unix (and variants) or Windows box.
