hi,
i just want to know if there is any restriction on this trigger, because i'm using it on an item and it never fires
plz help!

i you using forms 9i or 10g it will not fire .

well in fact, i'm starting to think this is a bug...... donno!!!
i hope i'm wrong.
sorry guys no offence but i have to say this:
if you compare with vb (any version) or visual foxpro(any version) or java or even javascript those mouse triggers in oracle forms really sucks.

I agree that Oracle Forms has had problems with mouse movement. Let's write a simple form that has a couple of items, place a When-Mouse-Enter at the item level on each item. The trigger should contain a 'message;pause;' pair. See if it works.
