Hi

Thanks for your prompt resonses. I could able to manage for my previous problems Now I have otherone.

When I run a form(userlog.fmb) from client creates userlog.fmx and runs without problem from client m/c.

The address opnes as follows only

http://irely-cd9c7gj10:8889/forms/frmservlet

Look in this URL

domain name:irely-cd9c7gj10
Port No: 8889
Servelet name: forms/frmservlet

But No fmx name and user/password and others parameters

My question is

what is the complete format (donam-prot-serverlet-fmxName-user/pass ...) to invoke a form(userlog.fmb) via internet/url?

Thanks in advance for your precious time.

I think there is a trailing '/' missing in your setup.

Have you got the 'test' form to run? Have you printed out the installation guide and followed it, point by point?

I searched this forum for 'frmservlet' and found many threads including http://www.orafaq.com/forum/m/180729/67467/?srch=frmservlet#msg_180729 - please compare your 'formsweb.cfg' against the entries listed in this thread.

Hi David

Thanks for your message. I tried as you said still I have the same problem

WHAT I DID?

I compared and updated formsweb.cfg between that internet site and mine but still i face the same problem.

when I run the form i get the following URL address

http://irely-cd9c7gj10:8889/forms/frmservlet

In that address no username, password, DatabaseName and other default values ....

I have form name userlog.fmb/fmx

username=bb04
passworkd=bb04
databasename=ora10g

host=irely-cd9c7gj10:8889

port:8889

For your information i could able to run the form(open form builder 10g, open userlog.fmb - Cotrol-R)

Don't you get the word 'test' in the URL somewhere?

Icons in 6i are ico files, in 9i/10g they are gifs.

Searching this forum for 'ico gif' return numerous links including http://www.orafaq.com/forum/m/189735/67467/?srch=ico+gif#msg_189735 and http://www.orafaq.com/forum/m/173436/67467/?srch=ico+gif+david#msg_173436
