maybe you're using a different key mapping?

you can define different key mappings for each workstation with resource files ...

you can re-define the default forms function keys by using resource files.

forms uses these files at runtime, so you are able to define different key mappings for different workstations.

for instance F8 is default "Execute Query". you may map this function to F2.

this is only theory: i'm sorry but i have no experience with this ...

Your PC - what operating system and which version of Forms?

Other PC - what operating system and which version of Forms?

Were both machines set up at the same time? How were they set up? A separate install or via a silent install or by a hard-drive image copy?

Do the two PCs run the same regional language setting?

Do the PCs access a shared network drive that contains the forms, or do they each have their own copy of the form, or are you using a common application server?

Is this a development or production environment?

Normally I would expect that the navigation, as you describe it, would be due to one copy of the form having the block property set to 'change_record' and the other form having it set to 'same_record'.

What we have to work out is if it is possible that your PC is working from its own copy which is just slightly different to the copy that everyone else is using.
