Hi,
Need help urgently. My user wants to enter phone number in a text field and as he enters he wants it to be displayed as a hint/prompt text at the bottom. For eg- he enters 1, he wants 1 below..then 12..12 at the bottom then 123..123 at the bottom. Can this be done at all? PLEASE HELP!

@others - Can we do this using a Java thingy?

@Mathan - use VB. Sorry, this type of functionality was never considered when Oracle Forms was designed 15 years ago for use in a client/server green screen environment. This style of operation is immensely heavy of network traffic unless you can get it done ON the client machine, hence the need for a Java thingy to run locally.
