hi
in "otacle9i as form services - how to deploy icons", not information to set filename.
and me use multiple form to set icon name in icon filename property for button.
such as :
icons.jar/picnew
icons/picnew
icons.picnew
...
but not work.

i do this steps :
1- create a jar file.
2- copy it in forms90\java
3- set needed information in formsweb.cfg
[myApp]
width=970
height=565
imageBase=CodeBase
archive_jini=f90all_jinit.jar,icons.jar
4- set my config for form :
runtime tab in prereferences :
http://afra:8888/forms90/f90servlet?config=myApp
5- set icon fileanme : ??????
please help me.

i'm creating jar file from gif files, copied into java directory and set needed information in configuration file, and now i dont know how can i set true path for icon name to show icon in iconic button.
my jar file name is : icons.jar
and gif image is : newpic.gif

I don't know whether Forms can get the 'gif' icons from a 'jar' file. Maybe someone else can tell you or you may find it in the documentation.

Are you running 9i or 10g? In 9i create a directory and store you '.gif' icons in it and put its directory name in the ui_icon register entry. In 10g you can specify the FORMS90_ICON_TYPE (I think) which lets the Forms Builder use icons files, other than '.ico', in the Forms Builder itself. Check the 10g Forms Builber documentation.

i change gif image with jpeg and in runtime, jpeg image is showed????????
