Pls any one tell me how to create a status bar in my application.
It should contain data base values in it.
Ie ., if a user is loed in to the screen the user name should be displayed in status bar ,
2. Date and time should also be displayed.
3.Data base columns should also be displayed

Perform following task.
1) Inset an activex control and select MICROSOFT STATUSBAR6.0
2) Draw it in your form.
3) Right click on that object and select properties.
4) Insert As much pannel you need in your scnerio add 3 pannel.
5) From each pannel style property set first pannel style property to date,2nd pannel time.For user name you must write code.

Pls Let me know the full details
I have created a toolbar with panels
Containing sysdate ,time
But I need the user name ( a database values) to be placed in one of the panels
Pls send me the coding

Go to http://www.oracle.com/technology/documentation/forms.html. Find 'Form Builder Reference'. Download it and search for 'username.
