- hi everybody
I'm working on a project from school.
I've made an oracle 9i database and now i'm making the rest with Forms 9i
Some days ago, i continued working, made some changes, runned it, and saved it.
And yesterday, when I wanted to continue, i suddenly got a strange error when i want to open my Form.

PDE-PLI011 A tools common schema is missing from the object store

Does anyone of you know how this happened
and more important
is their a solution ????? -

Please create a new form. If you have the default Oracle tables emp and dept, please use them.. If not create a block based on dual. Do not create any triggers.

Can you get the form to start and when you press 'F2' execute-query, does it populate with the letter 'X'?

Did you recently install some software (antivirus, for example)? Can you uninstall it and try to open the form again?

Is there any other computer nearby so that you could try to open that form on different location? What happens if you do so?

If possible, try to reinstall Forms Developer (uninstall it first!). Or, possibly even better (as it is sometimes difficult to get rid of Oracle software from disk and registry - if on MS Windows), format the disk, install operating system and Oracle software.

Isn't formatting the disk a bit drastic? If you have problems uninstalling Forms try deleting the Oracle director and the Oracle registry entry. Reboot a couple of times, verifying that the registry entries have not reutrned and then reinstall the database, reports, and then forms.
