Thank you for the reply for my previous question about the foreign key from different tables. Actually, what I'm trying to ask is: For example: table list has column name (which is not a primary key). I want to set it as foreign key references from "friends_names" in table friend, and also references "family_name" in table family. So, maybe in the previous question I was wrong to interpret it. Thank you and please reply as soon as possible.

no u can not create a foreign key unless u Add the unique or primary key to the first table.better u create primary key for name.
otherwise u will end up with error
ORA-02270: no matching unique or primary key for this column-list
