1-I have a web application server called ( office_server).
2-Oracle 10g developer and report server(repserver10g) are installed on it.
3-I have different database servers:
a) "main_server" hava a database called main b) "sec_server" have a database called sec

so i have 3 servers 1st have the report server and the others have the databases>

when i call a report which reads data from main_server
i use the report server(repserver10g) and it works fine
I connect as user/pass@main

but when i developed an application that reads data from sec_serevr and use(repserver10g) to run reports does not work
I connect as user/pass@sec

Sorry that I have been so long in replying. Have you solved your problem?

Verify that 'sec_server' is defined in the 'tnsnames.ora' file used by 'repserver10g'.

Basically, look at all the 'tnsnames.ora' files you have on your servers.
