Remove on-logon trigger and it will work fine again.

Or, fix errors you got. What do they mean? Check in Forms Online Help System (it appears that you have failed to connect to the database and, consequentially, are unable to read from list of values).

Is that a good idea? Will you modify this form (and, possibly, a few others) every time password changes? (You DO change passwords periodically, don't you?) Why wouldn't you let users enter their credentials upon logging onto the application?

I do know it was not good idea.
So I did change back to implicit login.

I have come accross another problem now,
I cannot figure out as how to run the form in the debug mode.
I really appreciate your valuable input.

I looking forward to a good experience in this forum, as you will see I just joined the forum

Thanks anayway

Which Forms version do you use? I'm on 10g so - if it is your version too - here's "how to": in one of PL/SQL units (such as triggers, procedures), right click left editor margin and insert a breakpoint. Then run form in debug mode (check the screenshot).

If you are on 6i, I *think* that it doesn't have debug option, so you'll have to debug it "manually" (insert MESSAGE commands into the code so that you could follow code flow, variables' values etc.).

Yes I am using 10 g.
I tried it, but I am getting some error messages.
But I'll give it a shot and try to figure out what the problem is
or else I know I can get back to you.

Is there any change required in the formsweb.cfg

But I could not see the snapshot that you sent.

I'll try today and give you a response.

Thanks,

Sambhaji
