Hi all,
i need to know how to use OLE controle object to show a pdf file and navigate between each pages inside my form.
also can any one tell me where can i find exemples.
finaly if i integrate a ole controle in a form this dose make any trooble-shooting on migrate to web version.

Sorry about the delay in getting back to you with an answer.

Search this forum for 'ole pdf'. Also consider running the 'pdf' via 'rundll32'. Have you tried 'web.show_document'?

Actually i dosn't try to use web.show_document i think that is usely in web version and only to show reports
what i need is to display a pdf in a canvas in a based item long raw to save the pdf on the db
also i need to be a solution multiplatforme unix lunix or windows
version client serveur or web
can you help me please to get a géneric solution

To store a 'pdf' in your database, search this forum for 'store pdf'.

To display a 'pdf' inside a form you will need to use a Java thingy. Search the web for a Java thingy that can display a 'pdf' and then imbed that into your form.

in fact i do no knowe java thingy i'll try to get some information about but i need to know is that solution can resolve my problem with a client-server version forms 6 because i had try to use a java bean that work only on web version

Why are you worrying about doing something so advanced in an old version of Forms?

Look at pages 5 and 6 of Oracle Forms: Features Obsolescence for Release 9i, Statement of Direction, July 2001 at http://www.oracle.com/technology/products/forms/pdf/275287.pdf and you will see that the OLE work that you do in Forms 6 will not be supported in the newer versions.
