hi im naveed. iwant to conect linux 6i with my server that is linux enterprise server 5 and having oracle 11gR1 on it. now i want to connect 6i with 11g that is on linux server. pleae tell me how i wil do that.

Linux 6i? Do you mean Forms/Developer 6i? In this case both versions are not compatible.
Upgrade your client.
