I'm migrating a forms aplication from 6i to 10g. This application has about 3000 forms.

My problem is that my IAS has UNIX AIX OS and unix is case sensitive, so when you call a report or a form and clling sentence has a different case than the file name the IAS doesn't find the requested object.

My team and me have decided to migrate every forms, pll and report file name in lowercase, but we do not know how to change the file refference masively, we also would like to know how to change masively attached PLL's file names to lowercase.

Any Idea?

PS: Even tough we have wide expirience developing in forms 6i, we are newbie in 10g and have no idea about how to use Java or Jdeveloper.

Hello,

You should try to create a .java using frmjdapi.jar that allow to perform that kind of massive changes. You can find samples on the web.

Here's a real good example : http://www.e-ammar.com/Oracle_TIPS/more_JDAPI.htm

And a good example for using Jdeveloper :
