Is Oracle Forms supported for IE8 [message #415055]

Hi All,

We are currently using Oracle Forms 10g and are planning to upgrade our explorer to IE8. Most of the documents I searched online say that Oracle does not support forms on IE8 but all those documents are not updated recently.

So please provide me any related information to this issue.

According to Oracle, Forms 10g Release 2 (10.1.2.4) and Forms 11g Release 1 should be certified with MS Internet Explorer 8.

here is my config:

Forms [32 Bit] Version 10.1.2.0.2 (Production)
Oracle Database 11g Enterprise Edition Release 11.1.0.7.0 - 64bit Production &
IE 8

*Its not working for me.. And I am getting DEP error (Data Execution Prevention) while forms invokes browser. I tried re-installing jinitiator.. & lots of setting updates.. no luck

end-up using firefox atlast.
