using call_Form built in i called form b from form a .now when i issue a commit in form b will form a changes be commited.

what is the difference between post and commit.

Please review the Reference Manual or Forms Help. The 'open_form' has new session capability, 'call_form' does not. Therefore, when you 'commit' in 'b' which is invoked by a 'call_form', the changes in 'a' will also be applied.

Concerning 'post' and 'commit', I suggest first reviewing the information in Forms Help for these two commands.
